Whittling

Date: 09. & 10.06.26, 5:00-8:00 pm, come whenever suits you, but no later than 7:30 pm 🙂
Location: Vikebygd football field, first shed next to the sports club’s clubhouse
Parking: Vikevegen 1275, 5568 Vikebygd, at Bygdahuset
Cost: free for members, otherwise 50 kr per person

Would you like to join us and whittle all sorts of things?

We’re thinking of everything from butter knives, planting sticks, sticks, whistles and figures. We’ll bring lots of ideas, tools and some wood to make things from. Suitable for everyone old enough to use a knife. Instruction in using a knife for whittling will be given to children and adults who want it, and we help each other. Safety is important when several of us are together. We’ll also bring some toys for the youngest children, and everyone who wishes is welcome. If the first day doesn’t suit you, you can come the next day at the same time. Or if you’d like to join for one more day, that’s just lovely.

Directions to the clubhouse:

• park at Bygdahuset
• walk past the “Kjekt i Vik” hall
• the entrance is at the back of the red house (clubhouse) by the football field
• go inside and up the stairs
